In 2022 we saw travel pick up for the first time since 2019. Our agency trends were on par with the industry at large. Popular trips that lead the list were Cruises, All Inclusive Resorts, Theme Park Travel and Europe. Here are some of our favorite destinations:
Barcelona Spain
In Barcelona, and throughout Catalonia, there are two official languages: Catalan, the language of the Catalans, and Spanish, the official language of Spain.
The Sagrada Família is a one-of-a-kind temple, for its origins, foundation and purpose. Fruit of the work of genius architect Antoni Gaudí, the project was promoted by the people for the people. Five generations now have watched the Temple progress in Barcelona. Today, more than 140 years after the laying of the cornerstone, construction continues on the Basilica.
Another must see site is Montserrat. Montserrat is a multi-peaked mountain range near Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. The mountain Montserrat with the Benedictine Monastery Santa Maria de Montserrat is located about 45 km northwest of Barcelona. Words cannot describe the beauty of Montserrat. Montserrat Mountain has had a religious significance since pre-Christian times. Legend has it that angels came down from the sky and created the mountain’s jarred edges, with help from a golden saw. Their goal was to create a throne for the Virgin Mary Before Christ a temple was built here by the Romans to worship V

South African Safari
A safari is an overland journey to observe wild animals, especially in Southeast Africa.
South Africa offers an amazing experience from culture to the wild and everything in between. Days in the bush will begin with a glorious sunrise, coffee made over fresh coals campside, and a check of “The Morning News”. “The Morning News” isn’t a local newspaper, instead it means that you scout and read tracks to see where the animals have slept and where they started their day. You will be treated to intimate encounters with giraffes, zebras, antelopes of all sorts, elephants, hippos, and water buffalo in their natural environment. Whether you want brave glamping at Bomani Tented Lodge at Hwange National Park or stay at Ilala Lodge to view Victoria Falls, there is beauty to be found all over this country.
Cruising
Cruising offers an array of amenities for all ages. Whether you are looking for family time, adventure, relaxation or romance, a cruise is the perfect vacation.
The sky’s the limit for destinations from the Caribbean to Alaska to Europe. If you want to visit multiple destinations, cruising allows you to unpack and get settled once you are in your room without the hassle of having to move your belongings to different hotels during your trip.
You can relax in the spa, choose an adventurous excursion and have a romantic dinner all in one day. The best part about cruising is the variety of options at your fingertips. Choose from a weekend cruise or a ten day itinerary. Many cruise lines also offer guests a stop at their private islands that feature beaches, restaurants, bars and water sports.
Cancun, Mexico
Cancún, a Mexican city on the Yucatán Peninsula bordering the Caribbean Sea, is known for its beaches, numerous resorts and nightlife.
Cancun is a wonderful place to visit with 14 miles of beaches, all-inclusive resorts, water sports, ruins to explore and more. If you want a relaxing beach vacation, this is it! The resorts are beautiful and most offer all-inclusive experiences. Cancun also offers amazing snorkeling and scuba diving for water lovers.
If you want to do some exploring during your vacation, there are many attractions to visit including Chichen Itza, known as one of the seven man-made wonders of the world. These ruins are just a bus ride away and full of culture and history.
Germany
If you want to take a European vacation, Germany is a great option. There is so much to see and do in this country.
One of our favorite times to visit is during the holiday season to explore the Christmas markets. Christmas markets date back hundreds of years and are still popular today. These street markets are associated with the celebration of Christmas during the four weeks of Advent. Traditionally held in town squares, the markets feature open-air booths that sell food, drink, Christmas crafts, pottery, candles, handmade toys and much more. If twinkling Christmas lights and local vendors displaying holiday merchandise is your idea of a winter wonderland, you must visit Germany’s Christmas markets for the ultimate holiday experience!
